ABOUT
Erika has been drawing since she could hold a crayon, so no one was surprised when she wanted to become a designer. Erika got her degree in graphic design from Moore College of Art and Design, graduating cum laude from the nation's highest accredited design program at that time.
In the 20+ years of her professional career, Erika has done it all: branding, marketing, advertising, 2-D, 3-D, event marketing, digital, print… She's worked for both nonprofits and for-profits, within all types of budgets and timetables. Her specialty is high-end markets.
Erika was the Associate Design Director, Branding & Marketing at UJA-Federation of New York for several years. In addition, her freelance clients include American Friends of Magen David Adom, American Society for the University of Haifa, Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, Compersion.com, Friends Research Institute, the MTA, NARSAD, Ohel Children's Home and Family Services, ORT America, Ronald McDonald House New York, TIAA-Cref, and the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood.
Part of Erika’s success is her commitment to her clients and the end user. Combining problem-solving skills and active listening with design thinking, she delivers thoughtful, considered solutions to her clients while keeping the end user in mind. Even before user experience became a household term, she made sure that all her designs were clean, easy to navigate, and easy to use.
